Key Stage 2 Educational Visits.
Outdoor Education opportunities, especially those with a residential element, play an important part in promoting the personal and social development of people of all ages and abilities, as well as contributing to their understanding of environmental and developmental education themes.
Sometimes the focus of activities will be on the development of particular skills, at other times on the process by which learning occurs, or by the provision of opportunities for learning through direct experience.
The range of Outdoor Education and the development of diverse activities create a need for instructors and teachers to be flexible in their approach. Teaching and instructional styles have clear emphasis on the needs of the individual and the group.
