| At Parkside Middle School, we understand that the last 25 years have seen an astonishing rate of technological development leading to changes in the way we live our lives. These changes have impacted into the school curriculum and has led to the development of Information Technology becoming a core subject. Information Technology has a substantial role in enhancing the learning process at all levels and across a broad range of activities including, and extending, beyond the National Curriculum. Parkside is well situated to cover the new curriculum in ICT and boasts a dedicated ICT suite, computers in every classroom, 4 extra ICT areas for cross curricular use and interactive whiteboards in every classroom. |
The children at Parkside enjoy ICT and cover areas such as spreadsheet modelling, web design and desk top publishing, amoung many others. By covering these areas we ensure that our children grow in confidence and gain the skills they need for their future lives.
