Music/Art Extra Curricular.
This year at Parkside there are a number of exciting opportunities for our pupils to get involved in.
 | Music In all years we offer the chance for pupils to begin to learn instruments and have tuition in school. At the moment we offer clarinet, flute, oboe, drums and guitar. Anybody interested should ask Mr Jones for further details. We also have a wonderful school choir that multiplied in number last year and we hope it will continue to do so this year!!! The choir, old and new members, will have the opportunity to participate in a Christmas production where we will also be looking for our budding Oscar winners! Auditions dates for acting and singing parts will be announced soon. The Summer term will also be incredibly busy at Parkside. We are hoping this year to have a whole school all singing, all dancing production ( show to be announced - watch this space!) and will be hosting an evening of fabulous entertainment, courtesy of our very own Parkside Rising Stars. |
Art We are very proud of our wonderful art work at Parkside, most of which can be seen displayed throughout our corridors, classrooms and even on entering our carpark with our wonderful gates! Over the year we aim to offer our artists opportunites to grow and develop their skills. We offer an art club after school, trips to galleries and strong links between local schools to ensure we can show off as much of our growing artistic talent as possible! |  |
