All pupils receive one music lesson per week, in addition to which there is a range of opportunities for participation in extra-curricular activities.
YEAR 5 music lessons this year are very exciting. Play2Learn is an innovative programme whereby ALL year 5 pupils receive tuition on two instruments during the year, finally choosing one to take forward into the Summer term. Tuition (on Clarinet and Cornet) is provided by Worcestershire Youth Music, and is free of charge.
YEAR 6 follow a Music Express course, covering rounds, cyclic patterns, sequencing sounds, and a large range of practical rhythm work and singing activities.
Instrumental tuition for all years is available on Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Drums and Guitar.

There will also be opportunities to take part in musical events, choir and productions during the school year.
