| All pupils receive one music lesson per week, in addition to which there is a range of opportunities for participation in extra-curricular activities. YEARS 7 & 8 work from a scheme called New Music Matters, which features, among other topics, 1950’s Rock and Roll, The music of Java and Bali, Vocal Music, Ragtime and Composing with chords. Instrumental tuition for all years is available on Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Drums and Guitar. Details of availability will be sent to parents/guardians shortly. There will also be opportunities to take part in musical events, choir and productions during the school year. |  |
