| R.E. is taught from the Worcestershire Agreed Syllabus. Pupils explore beliefs and practices of five major worlds faiths. Christianity is to be the predominant religion through key stages 1-4. Visits from representatives of other faiths, visits to places of worship and handling artifacts enhance the pupils understanding of a diverse and multicultural society. Pupils are encouraged to develop an understanding, tolerence and respect for the beliefs of others. In years 7 and 8 pupils learn about and reflect on the beliefs about God in Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism. |
